So Im a split op trainee with the Guard. (Complete basic and Graduated HS in Dec 2017) I was supposed to go to ait April 16th but the date wasn't confirmed and now i only have 12.5 weeks to go and be back in time to start college (Since i enrolled with the knowledge ill leave and be back in time) I just text my NCO Admin that i wont leave if i miss college and she threaten me with a failure to train discharge (For a very seemlier reason my friend also split op request a discharge today). Now she is tryin to work with me to send me one of the listed MOSs
92A 92Y 89A 89B 13F 13D
She said before i can even go back to meps i need the BC to sign off on the reno. How long will this take, of those moss what slots what are open, and start this May, and finally if i do get discharge what will it fall under? What can I do to speed up the ship process to leave this Month?

I do really wanna stay Army but has honestly fucked up my life plans and I need the money for a higher edu.
I can Support one year of college by myself after that i most Re enlist or enlist into a different branch (AF)

MORE CONTEXT
2 weeks ago when this was found out i was told that i shouldnt have enrolled and its my problem to deal with. Ive already have a housing contract with my college, 7k in grants, and have already paid fees to the school.
Theyve know since May 2017 Ill be graduating in Dec 2017

PFC (Join to see) I agree with MSG (Anonymous) about selfless service. The military works on their schedule, not yours, and the Army has not messed up your life. Quit complaining and work on solutions. Work on your grammar or you will not pass College English.

well its on a computer within a website thats pretty much like reddit. Theres no point to be formal, plus im not gonna do a grammer check on this. so its kinda dumb that you think this has to be formal lol

PFC (Join to see) - Your grammar is terrible and I think that this is the best that you can do. You will not pass College English.

It's all your choice but pick MOS you like best, get AIT training dates lock in, then determine college semester you enroll in based on AIT graduation date. Then take advantage of all the education benefits the Guard has to offer. Cynthia Croft

How has the army messed up you life plans?

You obviously don’t have the money for college so it’s just helping your plans!

Also wait a semester to start college!
