Why not? It completes the dictator trifecta of portraying the free press as an enemy of the state, attacking the judicial branch as illegitimate when it doesn't agree with the fearless leader, and now parading its military in pompous public displays that serve no actual deterrent purpose and only serve as an ego boost to the fearless leader. Is there anyone on this website that believes that terrorist groups or the North Korean and Iranian governments don't already know what our military consists of? It's public knowledge, easily obtainable. A parade like this in the US would be a total embarrassment. And no, it doesn't honor the troops. They are the ones that get screwed out of spending the holiday with their families to have to march in that BS, not even counting the weeks of prep painting and repainting vehicles and marching practice. I thought weneeded our troops to be more focused on war fighting stuff, not dog and pony shows. And it would cost millions of dollars to fund it.

Keep drinking the kool aid. Military parades in this country go back to the beginning. The PRESIDENT hates the lying media so they are the enemy. The judicial branch has their biased conclusion and then tries to warp the constitution to make it stick. Dog and pony? I agree, so let’s get rid of all the bands, silent drill team, blue angels, golden knights etc

The only purpose I can see in a national military parade is for the CIC to show off his 'manhood' to the rest of the world. It is not to honor our military. It intent isn't a matter of pride but of ego. We, America don't need one.

my 2 cents is Heeeeeeellllllll NO. My reason is i don't wanna have to be in it. I'm far too busy with 350-1 training and attending mandatory briefings about not sexually assaulting people. What happened to the days when it was considered normal that most people weren't sexual predators and didn't need to receive a class about not raping people.

I marched in a parade in Tacoma after we got home from Iraq, the congress lady who requested it was obviously aware how much fort lewis supports the local economy and was glad to have those federal pay checks being spent in her district again.
