Biden picking Shyu for DoD research and engineering chief

There is no question the President* has stated his priorities start and are focused almost solely on race and gender, followed by academic qualifications. Real-world doesn't seem to enter into it.

That being said, Shyu actually seems to have a lot of good, applicable experience. I guess the saying about blind pigs and acorns or stopped clocks would apply.
