A lot of this analysis is based on assumptions (to fill in missing gaps of information) but the assumptions aren't too far fetched. I can't say I agree totally with the analysis, but it's better than most of what I've seen, and it does give you something to ponder...

I totally agree that if Trump doesn't make good on promises he made, he will have to answer to those who voted for him. Trump would do best to remember WHO put him in the White House, and he better make THEIR agenda his priority or things will get ugly REAL FAST. Trump supporters aren't useful idiots and they have given Trump their trust and support, but with reservation. They don't expect to be thrown under the bus, and they DO expect to see results. They have given Trump a chance to make history and go down as possibly exceeding Reagan in popularity. He can do it if he plays right by the people. The ball is in his court. If he throws his base of support under the bus, he'll have EVERYONE calling for his impeachment and he won't have the race card to play to get him out of it.

Most if not all past presidents made campaign promises; what make Trump any different? The past presidents were never held accountable why do you say he will if not fulfilled? I agree with most of your comments but not on accountability.

Trust me, a lot of people held their nose when they voted for Trump because Hillary was a far worse alternative. (See video) As bad as Conservatives felt about electing Trump [because he has a big mouth and oversized ego that gets him in trouble], he was the only viable option in the GOP that could effect change. They didn't vote for Trump because they like him. [He loves himself wayyyy too much!] They voted for him because he, of all the candidates, was an outsider who could buck the establishment and shake up Washington.

Trump is a leader and had everyone else reacting to him. He was refreshingly not PC, and had the guts to say what everyone in the heartland of America was thinking. AND Trump is a skilled negotiator. He's smart. He knows how to surround himself with talent, and has business savvy [sorely lacking in career politician lawyers who equate mountains of paperwork and red tape with productivity]. Americans wanted change and Trump is the candidate that best represented the people's desire to see REAL "Hope and Change" in government. He was elected based on his potential to fill the shoes of POTUS and those who voted for him HOPE that he will grow into those shoes and begin to act more Presidential when he is sworn in.

Capt Jeff S. - I know a lot of liberals who were shocked out of their bubbles when they found out that the DNC had rigged the system for Hillary over Bernie. On election day they simply did not vote for president because they hated Hillary and could not vote for Trump.

Has crazy conspiracy theorist tone. Hmm, must be a crazy conspiracy, nothing new for the Trump crowd.

I'm reminded of song lyrics from my daughters favorite movie- "Let it go, let it go"
