It is supposed to rain cats and dogs later, so we got out on the Trail of Honor, a walking path behind the National Cemetery. It was a good brisk 45 minute walk early in the day. It usually is longer but there were still four inches of water over a section near the far end from the rains last week. I have waterproof Irish Setter boots, but they were in the garage, and I did not want to get wet feet that far from the car. I'm just a wimp in my old age, aren't I?

1SG Steven Imerman We are all wimps in this stage of our lives. A few years ago as I was visiting a local recruiting station area, ‘Future Marines’ were doing laps around the building. When they got near the entrance, they would stop and do 10 weak pushups. I restrained myself from ‘dropping’ and demonstrating proper pushup execution! I would have needed help getting back up and my shoulders would probably have collapsed when I hit the position!
