I’m going on leave in a few months and my brother is having my niece/god daughter’s baptism and I was wondering if that falls under AR-670-1

You can but keep in mind if you are going somewhere to celebrate an occasion such as this, wearing a uniform might distract from where the attention should be.

Did you look at AR670-1 and which sections did you look at? The answer is in AR670-1 11-3 hint occasions for wear.

I did it only said what is authorized but not limited to but I just didn’t know if it was frowned upon in that environment

What does your brother thin? If he would like you to wear your uniform, I doubt anyone would have an issue, so long as you wear it properly with all appropriate ribbons, badges, shoes shined and hair cut.
