Duty stations? No.

Expect to get offered a MOS based on the needs of the Army.

Who says 11B is in high demand?

You may re-assess as 11B, you may not. Depends on what the Army needs.

Duty station choice is an incentive that can be offered to PS. Also as an E4 who is MOSQ there are more likely incentives to remain in that MOS.

I was offered to retain my rank after three months and duty station. 11B is always in demand but since you were trained in another MOS it wouldn't surprise me if they kept you there. Then again it is the Military.

SPC (Join to see) There is the chance that you could be offered the incentive to choose a duty station. It all depends on what you are offered at MEPS.

Incentives for PS vary depending on your circumstances; what job you take, if you need retraining, if you are offered cash bonus, if you get a duty station choice. Unfortunately there is no way to know what is available until you go sit down at MEPS.

I don't know if this will answer your question. Are you keeping that MOS? Are you re classifying? In my situation When I changed from ARNG to Active Army I was offered re classify to a new MOS. I had to go back to a military installation to retrain a new MOS, Right after the training I had the opportunity to chose from various duty station openings that were available. Good Luck
