My friend SSG William Jones your statistic reminds me there are 7 million plus veterans who may not be able to walk into combat. Yet there is combat in the streets in too many places and spiritual warfare is ongoing. The nation and world need prayer warriors more than physical warriors IMHO.

LTC Stephen Ford; Not too long back when I was going to the diner in town for an occasional breakfast , a young man had a center booth and there was a good amount of paying guests also dining and waiting for tables. The young man was immersed in his bible and writing notes.. and taking bites of his fare, A guest got tired of waiting and approached him and got in his case telling him to hurry it up and finish so others could get a table and order... maybe the guest was right....in a sense but i didn’t think he should of been the one to take it upon himself to pressure that guest..A wait person went over and asked what the prob was .. the waiting guest implied the young man was eating purposely slow to
Get under his skin.. The wait picked up the young man’s bill and looked at it.. she told the waiting guest to back off. The young man had a sizable breakfast and was entitled to enjoy it.. the waiting guest decided enough was enough and left.. I was waiting to see if he got in the young man’s face again.. finally the young man finished and paid and left.. When he got out the door the grumpy guest got in his face again.. the young man said something and whatever was said had effect on the p..o.’d guest..
Another guest on their way in had commented that the young told the guy he would pray for him after hearing thst guest call him every name that would make a longshoreman blush.. we didn’t see that other offensive guest in the diner for a while..

I limp a bit but I'd gladly go back to Iraq or anywhere else.
