MAJ Ken Landgren - IMO --Once you have been in combat,you know what you are capable of and a combat veteran is a combat veteran,regardless of branch.

I was NCOIC of a small section at HQ, MACV. It was a joint command. I had Army(8), Navy(4), a Marine, and 3 Airmen. We did a lot of teasing (all the time) but when push came to shove, we all stood up for anyone else on the team.

MSG Stan Hutchison Same with me,MSG. I served with all branches except the Coast Guard in Vietnam and couldn't tell the difference unless they had insignia on or i knew them personally.

SSgt Terry P. - I knew one Coastie, and saw others, but only pulled duty when with any of them on Defense Force, which everyone pulled.
