I didn’t know this for a long time, but if a service member joins Navy Federal Credit Union, their family can join too, even if they never served. This includes spouses, kids, parents, siblings, grandparents, and people living in the same household.
Even after someone retires or leaves the military, their family can still join and get the same benefits. Just sharing in case others didn’t know!
