What are your thoughts?
So if the Russians really interfered in our election, it's considered wrong. Why is it ok for illegal aliens to interfere in our election every year? Thoughts?

Everyone attempts to influence our (America's) elections, especially for the President. Everyone. Every nation. Face it. We're the Atlas the world is leaning on, economically, and they have a vested interest in the outcome. Why wouldn't they, why shouldn't they have an opinion. Their vital interests can be sorely affected. How is it wrong for them to express those opinions? Yes, it is wrong for them to finance a candidate or tamper with voting machines. That's obvious. Likewise, it's obvious that President Trump's detractors have attempted everything to show that he colluded with someone (especially some Russian someone's) and have produced one bit of evidence. It seems pretty clear there's nothing there to be found. If there were, they would have found it. What's also wrong is that they have attempted to fabricate evidence, and every time they're caught doing it they shuffle off and try again. Maybe it's time for someone to prosecute them for that behavior. Oh, and no, it's not ok for illegal aliens to interfere in our eletions, however, in California, it seems its ok for them to vote. We're giving them drivers licenses which is all they need to participate in our elections. Now that's really wrong, isn't it?

SFC (Join to see) - What fraud? Each state sets the rules for elections. California, under the thrall of Democrats, will give the vote to anyone whom they think will vote Democrat. That's not fraud. It's simply a Democrat's sense of fairness

There's still that sticky technicality of having to be A citizen to vote. Until they change the laws to give votes to illegal aliens the law stands.

SFC (Join to see) - Only sticky, if you get caught. And that law applies to Federal Elections, not states and local. There have been some communities and groups trying to get the vote for them, and all elections eventually have repercussions throughout the USA.

You are absolutely correct, I thought of that after I typed it. This is one of the reasons I don’t want to see any permanent (even long term) visas issued in the United States because we know, that as sure as God made little green apples, the argument will be made: “They should have a voice in the government if they are paying taxes, etc.”

When we use the term illegal immigrants, we are speaking of a specific group of people being here illegally, as opposed to the term illegal aliens. Here is the listing of illegal immigrants by country of origin, and we are not attempting to locate and send them home packing.

I'd like to see a better turnout of American citizens for voting. We average out less than half of the citizen population percentage-wise for Election Day.

I'm OK with it. If people are not motivated enough to get themselves off their asses and vote, then they're most likely not motivated enough to get themselves informed.

You got it......the real problem with voting is, not enough people do it. In my county, if we get 35% of registered voters to the polls for an election, that's a huge turnout. And then people complain about whoever wins.......go figure.
