Can't remember exactly where, but suspect it was in college ROTC, but got a briefing that their espionage probably allowed the Soviets to develop an atomic bomb at least 10 years before they could have done it on their own.

I an m not a fan of the death penalty, but there is little ration doubt that they are guilty of the crimes they were executed for.
