I smell KBR prices!!
Next month, I have to go to my unit to sign some paperwork for my retirement. I have not been to my unit since August of 2020. I have scheduled my covid-19 test 2 days before I leave. Hopefully, my hope is, The Canadian government will have this withdrawn. I think it's a freaking rip-off to spend $2000 Canadian for a mandatory 3 days stay at a hotel. I have to get a covid test right before I leave back to Canada. a week after I come back I have to get another coronavirus test. This will end up being a 2-week quarantine. I will be at home for 12 of the 15 days.
My goal is to have my retirement kicking in November. My wife is coming along as well and both our names are a memorandum that my G3 wrote for us to justify to the Canadian
and American officials why we are coming to the USA.
I am going to also go back again during the summer. I will be put on 25-day orders.
My employer is aware of all this and they know that I am retiring at the end of the year so I will have more time off than I've ever had. My employer is understanding. I hope the lawsuit throws out this Draconian hotel prison. The prices remind me of what KBR would charge the US government for housing or helping feed United States soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan.

It's a shame people all over Canada and the United States have to go through all these hassles and overcomplicate everything !

Couldn't you quarantine at home? Requiring specific hotels just breeds price gouging.

This sounds like a government bias, just another way to gouge Americans; while immigrants are being welcomed into the US and Our government is paying fir their 14 day quarantine...just my two cents
Good Luck @ LTC Stephen LTC (Join to see)!

22 million illegals can come in, without Covid testing, and O'Biden welcomes them. Simply wrong on so many levels.

SPC Nancy Greene i think they would be happier to think we are losing our collective minds.

Technically isn't he on TDY status and our government is paying for it?
