Does anyone know if the Army offers any financial assistance to families being moved to a different house on the same base to accommodate for their child’s EFMP?

Have them check with transportation to determine if their situation warrants a local move. I made three local moves here at Ft Leavenworth. One because they changed our housing from senior enlisted to junior enlisted, the second was to move me next door with 3 months until retirement so they could renovate my house (which they didn't start until 3 months after my retirement) and the 3rd one was to move outpost when I separated. They did the local move when I separated so it would not impact my retirement move.

What do you consider as financial assistance?

Not paying out of pocket for the move absolutely no assistance. I wasn’t sure if the Army was required to help them move if they were being moved to another house on post for medical reasons with their child on EFMP

An easy fix is to call your base transportation office.
