Wednesday, April 4, 2018 - Motivational Quotes of the Day! Good Morning Everyone!
Today is: "Experience Day!" Why Not?

The Quote in the Picture Today Reads: "Be brave. Take Risks. Nothing can substitute experience." — Paulo Coelho
"The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience." — Eleanor Roosevelt
"Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted. And experience is often the most valuable thing you have to offer." — Randy Pausch
"Be thankful for everything that happens in your life; it’s all an experience." — Roy T. Bennett
"Good judgment comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgment." — Rita Mae Brown
"Nothing ever becomes real 'til it is experienced." — John Keats

Thank you COL Mikel J. Burroughs for the great inspirational and motivational quotations! I particularly like your quote on choosing the right attitude. Since this is the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King, I would like to share a quote my grandfather used to repeat from Dr. King that always inspired me and one I always chose to do my best to emulate.
“If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as a Michaelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, 'Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.”
― Martin Luther King Jr.

SPC Margaret Higgins - One of my faves too. Every job and every task matters. The world functions well when all do what they do to the best of their ability,

Love the Rita Mae Brown quote- "...Experience comes from bad judgment." Wouldn't have learned anything if it weren't for the hard way. I can't recall ever taking the easy way out. Great Wednesday greetings to you COL Mikel J. Burroughs hope you and yours are doing well.

Umm, being in the middle of learning something the hard way, it's not fun. So thank you for the reminder that this has its purpose.

Too bad we can't learn it any other way. I have told friends, "You don't have to buy that t-shirt--you can wear mine." LOL
