We are inordinately proud of the young man.

Gunner was interviewed by WHO radio in Iowa yesterday. More info from the Simon Conway show-

Yesterday we spoke to an Iowan LIVE from US Navy boot camp! He wants to be a Naval Aviator! His name is Gunner Imerman and he has about two weeks to go as an Officer Candidate before he graduates, becomes an Ensign and heads to Pensacola. I asked the Navy for a picture of him. I said "don't send me one of those posed pictures next to a flag please". They did good. TRIGGER WARNING... literally!
