I had to quit shooting for a few years because of a son-in-law I had. He couldn't have a firearm in his hand without me looking down the barrel at every turn. So, I put mine away and he finally went away.

SSgt Christopher Brose He just never was around guns growing up and he was one of those guys who thought he knew everything. So, teaching him safety, anything, was impossible.

Not a bad article. And we will never keep guns out of the hands of criminals (i.e. people who shouldn't have them) so those of us who are law abiding should be able to defend ourselves.

Every person has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Those rights can be eliminated by those that would control us. The 2nd amendment is our answer to those who want to control us. Without the ability to protect ourselves we are slaves or worse, we can be eliminated at their discretion. Remember this when it comes time to vote.
