I have to say when I read the tweet the first time it did not really register just how funny it really was. Then when I sat and thought about it for a second, it really began to sink in. Even though they later deleted the Tweet, Moms Demand Action (@momsdemand) thought it a good Thanksgiving Day tip to tell people to ask the host of anyplace they are going if there were guns in the home, alluding to the fact it was for the safety of the children.

Reminds me of these pet adoption groups that will not let you adopt a pet until they have inspected your home. Sorry, but GFY to these people and their kind.
I'm not baby-sitting your kids, and I am not adopting them. If I am inviting you into MY home, YOU better be the one controlling your children, otherwise pack it up and go home, or do us both a favor - Do not accept the invitation, and keep your uncontrolled and in-disciplined children and yourselves at home. Also you can do me another favor, If you have to eat restaurant food/fare, order it to go and take your unruly children home where they belong, and not out in public.

Personally, it's my opinion that this is none of anybody else's business, and if I were asked (depending on who it was), I would likely tell them so.
Anybody who objects to this shouldn't have a problem if I produce a medical questionnaire and asked them to fill it out before I let them in my house. Same for vaccinations.
Because, you know...children.

PO3 Steven Sherrill - Of course it is! I mean, how many people have bleach in their homes? It's deadly, too. Got gasoline for vehicles and lawn care equipment? Likewise toxic and a potential fire hazard, too. Got electrical power and appliances? Also potentially deadly.

I would just go ahead and make reservations for them at the nearest hotel and while I was at it, a restaurant. Maybe then they won't come at all. As a general rule, I detest progressive socialists unless they are female, beautiful (in my eyes), intelligent, don't expect me to change my opinions, and find me totally irresistible.
