Does anyone have any experience with this new test that’s supposed to be replacing the APFT? What’s the pass/fail mark? What do the raw score numbers mean on the back toss? Are there alternate events? I don’t see these things being doable for people with shoulder/back profiles.

What in the world is this change. I am stationed at an AIT location Ft Lee, Va and heck the fail rate for the current APFT is high. Look, stop thinking that new recruits are much better equipped to deal with Mental and physical challenges. I witness this on a daily basis. Give them a cell or tablet test and now you are talking.

Is there anything much harder on a back injury that a sit up? The leg lift thing isn't easy, I do those at the gym when I feel like torturing myself. The sprint thing doesn't look fun either.

I am concerned about the train-up and the time needed to administer this test.

SSG (Join to see) - I'm a bit confused, is 180 total points now a passing score? That's how it looks.
A lot of this stuff can be local fabricated, but it will be interesting to see it implemented.

180 pts is the min you need to pass now. 60/event

180 is only 30 points per event. Six exercises.
