This will apply to mostly the ground pounding branches and those attached to us or served with us previously. You have TWO MINUTES. I say again in TWO MINUTES you will eat ONE container of MRE crackers with NO water or liquid beverage of any kind (this includes the jelly/cheese packs). Should you choose to take this challenge and succeed, you will be remembered in the Hall of Heroes in the Pentagon and given your own Tank to PMCS on Monday with gunnery on the following Saturday after you sign your Art15 for lying.. If you fail this challenge, you will join the rest of the military (the 100% who can't do it), and suffer through NCOPD, boring ass VIP visits, three hour Change of Commands at the Flag Level, Mando training slides, reviewing counseling files, CQ/Staff Duty, random PT tests, UA's, and repetitive deployment training in units that have a 100% probability of not deploying anywhere past the local chow hall. Can you complete the one mission even Chuck Norris won't touch?

I want to go home and puke thinking about that, but I am home, and don't feel like cleaning that up.

LTC John Mohor - I did the pork pattys on a bet. Drinking the water AFTER was brutal. I thought I had a life raft inflating inside of my gut! Tasty though. I'm sicken wrong!

As I recall, those crackers were made to not crumble and break. I actually developed a taste for them with either the peanut butter, jelly or cheese packs. No, I would not attempt to eat them without liquid. I would trade for them if I got one of the inedible meals.

After Hardtac, DARPA had to come up with a new means to mess with us, so here is mid-90's version of Hardtac

SSG Warren Swan those packs remind me of government peanut butter (the color) from the 1960s. That was good stuff. I wish I had your crackers to go with it.

uh nuh…..no you don't unless you have access to the entire Atlantic to wash them down, and you might need the Pacific to ensure you have enough fluids left in you.
