No law exists in the United States that can complel any citizen to acquiesce to or continence a protest. The VP had EVERY RIGHT to exercise HIS FREEDOM OF CHOICE to leave the game. The NFL "... social justice warrior athletes..." had a right to exercise their Freedom of Choice to Protest. The VP was exercising his right to express his contempt for said protest.

LOL at Pence's comment that he and Trump will not dignify an event... of all the words used to describe Trump, dignity is never one of them. This whole thing was a publicity stunt for Trump. Trump tweeted he asked the VP to leave if anyone kneels. They knew that several 49ers kneel, so they knew he would walk out before he even got there. That's why they didn't have the press pool traveling with the VP even get out of their vans; it was like "don't bother getting out--we won't be here long".

SP5 Christine Conley - They should have it on at all times while on duty but I'm pretty OK with them covering it up when they are in the restroom. :)

The issues with body cameras isn't what the public commonly believes.
1) body cameras face one direction, away from the officer toward the front. Not the sides, back, down, etc. In other words, it isn't like tv where you see everything. It doesn't show the person who hits you from behind or something thrown at you from the side.
2) audio doesn't pick up everything clearly. Anything more than a few feet may not get picked up.
3) laws prevent filming people in areas where there is an expectation of privacy and no criminal offense is being committed. For those who think it's a good idea to have an Officer with the video on all the time, think again. Again, the video is facing outward. Imagine seeing yourself on TV or Youtube in an embarrassing situation due to someone obtaining the film through a public information request

As a 20 yr veteran, I don’t like seeing the flag and our country disrespected the way it is. But we been given the right by others giving their lives to voice our concerns peaceably. So I take note of that. Now, however these men are foremost entertainers. They are professional entertainers playing a sport to give the public enjoyment and are paid highly for it. And they are protesting on the clock. Almost every player supports a charity off time, not at a game or on the clock. So why can’t they do their protesting that way as well. If I were to go in to my job tomorrow and start protesting the diner down the street, I would be told drop it or be fired. These players are protesting on the public’s time - the very ones who is paying them the big bucks. I want to see that player run the ball or do whatever he is good at, not taking up free tv time to protest.
