360 simultaneous intel efforts should now be the rule, focusing only on what we believe the greatest threats to be is to risk blindsided lessons any magician has learned long ago.
When I see the barrage of threats coming at us, such as they are now, while we are certainly in an environment of risk, It is not the threat so publicly made that is likely at least as spoken, to be carried out.
Instead I see a bunch of bs ers. Which causes me more to wonder about the threats not spoken and which tongue wagger is pointing the opposite direction by wagging it. While each of these Korea, Russia, Iran etc is a threat, a greater one would be that we are looking the wrong direction when it happens.

Because we love, we choose actions that allow us and those we care about to live and love as long as possible. If you see someone in the street and a car speeding towards them yet say nothing, you may care that were injured but a greater caring would be shown in the alert to circumvent the danger.

There are two Marine Corp Generals around POTUS. They are squared away.

I remember the article about the above situation. The following is just my 2cts:
Once, I talked to a MSG that was pulled out of retirement to go to the first Gulf War. We were in the field shooting all day. He told me a few things that America can do and is doing.
There are those in the military and in the defense department tasked with looking at information like you have posted. They are hard chargers in their own right and love our country. There is no telling what gets destroyed overnight as we place our pretty little heads on our little pink pillows.
To go up against the United States, it has to be hand to hand to have a chance to win and small victories will not win a war. Like Vegas. If Vegas is much more than one old guy that never had weapons training and does not understand fortified positions, the United States will only be effected at one location. Then, the situation gets wrapped up to keep the rest of America from demanding war, or harming those not involved on a whim.
Why do evil men do evil things? Terrorism is used as a political weapon. To get a nation to act, or to not act. Watching how Egypt acts after a whole Mosque of people were murdered is a near future example. It is happening in Europe, Briton and here.
