OMG! Are we going down this road again?? Of the forty-five men who have been president, only fourteen were Masons. The last was Ford. In a time where free thoughts and ideas were frowned upon, it was quite common for such men as our founding fathers to belong to groups like the Freemasons. Yes, they had the money designed. Yes, they gave that job to Masons, just like anyone who is part of any tight knit group would try to give jobs to their buddies.
