RallyPoint Members, Connections, and Friends keep those prayers and well wishes coming for our very own SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL - below is an update from Joe...
"Good day "Colonel" I miss and love the RP. Nation. I have been in the hospital since February off and on. I have Congestive Heart Failure ❤ and will need a Heart Transplant going forward. I am optimistic and my faith is with God almighty.

I have been in the hospital since my 51st Birthday March 25. I have not been to work since 19 February. DCMA my job and friends have been supportive. I have to get the right MEDS, and getting water out of my body. I have lost 45 1bs of water weight since February. I am under constant exams in trying to get a HEART TRANPLANT. Every MRI/Ultra Sound and blood test are being conducted for the right match for a heart.
To prolong my life I have sighed up for the following.
1. Awaiting Heart Transplant approval, I have to get approved to be on the list for a heart Transplant which a committe of 20 groups review my case to see if I eligible for a heart ❤.
2. Back up is a heart device, Allen a LAV-D which helps my heart become stronger in case heart might need it immediately while awaiting a heart. You might have this option if you don't get a matching heart until your end days.

Well I hope this helps. PLEASE KEEP ME IN PRAYERS/THOUGHTS.
NOTE I AM VERY BUSY WITH HOSPITAL STUFF and seldomly have time to respond because of condition and being highly sedated/medicated.
I am at Virginia Commonwealth University, discharge unknown as of yet.
** Note VCU is the premier leader in heart Transplant, Ranked #44 in the nation, and the#1 Trauma hospital in the state of Virginia. They performed the first Heart Transplant in the U.S. in 1968.
They have a 98% Heart Tranplant rate above the national rate of 91%. Staff has counseled me at VCU.
