My wife is native Cree Indian Canadian and she was actually shocked when she saw a Blackfoot Indian as a good role model and one of the characters in her Squad and he was the explosive Ordnance guy. She went to the movie reluctantly with me and our daughters and she was actually pleased with the movie because she wasn't expecting a good native role model to show up later in the show.
