I recall my recruiter saying to me as I got on the bus to ride from Flint to Detroit to the MEPS. "Boy, those people down there are not priests. You don't confess to nothing! If they can't find it, it doesn't exist!"

But I'm sure things have changed since 1973! :)

All recruiters tell there recruits admit to nothing. Just say no.

i joined in 2000
conversation with recruiter after taking asvab and filling out necessary paperwork.

recruiter: we've got a bus leaving for meps this Friday, I'll get you booked.

me: is there a drug test at meps?

recruiter: oh, so you're saying you need approximately 30 more days to "get your personal things sorted out"?

me: yes, exactly...

recruiter: ok ill see you on June 28th for meps...

He'll, back in '85 all he did was write on the medical "experimented due to peer pressure " and sent me on to MEPS

I was there with 27 other people. 26 of us decided to do up our last night of freedom right. The last one said we were all going to hell. She was the only one that got sent to a base in hell.
