For those who are interested, years ago I ran a number of USGenWeb Civil War Pension Files sites: I, myself, designed the ones that I administered. Much of the information I obtained in person from the National Archives in DC. By now, some of my sites may be defective for I posted them in the early 2000s and I no longer run any of them (Indiana [filled with goodies] was my favorite site - my Anderson relatives lived there). Also, my e-mail addresses on them are no longer used. In addition, I had posted a number of rosters. Hopefully, interested Rallypoint members will find some of their ancestors or pertinent units in the postings - good luck!

I did some checking a year or two ago on relatives that fought in the Civil War using both spellings of my last name, it was about even on the number of relative that fought for the north and the south brother SGT Mark Anderson
