Our defeat is complete. The continental US is now under threat. We are back to September 10th, except for the fact that we have provided our enemy with arms and ammunition. What was it all for?

We were volunteers and did our jobs that our country asked us to do. Arms, equipment, and training were provided to the Afghan security forces so they could take care of their own business without ISAF involvement. If anything the Afghans FAILED themselves because this was their time to fight and they just cut and run or were already part of the Taliban.

They were depending on us as an allied force and we simply left them there. When faced with a terrorist group (the Taliban) that would kill them and their families if they resisted what did you expect them to do?

Yeah they were depending on us to do everything. I wasn't impressed with them in the least
