Impeachment

President Clinton lied under oath, an impeachable offense. The impeachment was successful but he avoided removal from office by the political vote in the Senate where his party was in the majority. At the end of his term, he was forced to admit his guilt in a public statement following a trial in civil court. That was then. This is now. The lynch mob is now in control of the House of Representatives and President Trump will likely be impeached by the opposition that is in the majority, though he too will be acquitted in the Senate where his party is in the majority. Americans will remain divided. Indeed, the whole affair will only serve to widen the abyss between us and harden our hearts. Healing, if it ever comes, may only come through violence (which the Democrats have been advocating and Antifa is effecting). God help us all...
