There is no similarity between the missions of law enforcement and the military. Thus, military equipment, weapons, and tactics are inappropriate to law enforcement (I don't mind the uniforms so much). However, don't be thrown by Capt Gregory Prickett 's response. It's a non sequitur. He just loves to throw out nonsense like that to vent his spleen over President Trump's election. Indeed, if you look at it without prejudice, you'll find that the Trump Administration has done much to eliminate the tyranny of the Obama Administration (remember President Obama's infamous declaration about having a "pen and a phone" to dictate the laws he wanted if Congress failed to act the way he wanted?
