I’m wanting to become an officer and I’m not sure if Green to Gold or OCS is the way to go. Anyone know about the two?

Since you currently don't have a degree. Go green to gold. Get your degree in the prerequisite for a pharmacist degree. Making yourself eligible with your pharmacy tech background, then apply to pharmacy school through military. They pay for it but you will owe time for each year they pay for. But debt free from school. Then your options are to retire after 20 or leave military after your comitment is up for their paying for your schooling. This gives you the best options.

Thank you! I’m actually not wanting to become a pharmacist, I just want to be an officer. Thinking about a history degree.

The big difference is that G2G is ROTC and OCS is for when you already have a degree

Depends, do you have a degree or not? Been a while since I was in but if memory still serves me correct Green to Gold allows you to take a few years to go to college, OCS would require that you already have a degree.

Thank you. That was what I was think the difference was. I’d have to go G2G then.
