Ah. yes depending upon climate my friend SGT John " Mac " McConnell trench foot, immersion foot, leaches, chiggers, frostbite, scorpions and other critters have impacted the feet of the infantryman over the millennia. I remember having two pairs of boots, OD green socks, foot powder, etc. and checking feet during the day and ensuring soaked socks and boots were changed for drier ones and trousers were bloused with bands to help keep chiggers, etc. out.

We also use those OD wool socks for putting our C-Rats in so it wouldn't rattle, and attract bullets.

LTC Stephen F. and SGT John McConnell every wartime infrantry veteran deserves service connection for any foot problems. We all give so much, but foot soldiers press hard to keep giving.

Randy I learned to take care of my dogs in the SF course, I had a shaving bag with all of my foot care stuff in it. If I got a few minutes I would doctor my dogs. The feet are the tires for the human machine. No matter what kind of cool car you have if you get a flat you dont go, the same with your feet.

Yep I have flat feet and had to stand on coke bottles before my induction physical to pass, so I learned to do all I could to keep them happy Jeff.
