These 5, linked up with 3 more, who started yesterday and spent last night in the Madison Hut. From there, the group of 8, hiked across the Presidential Range, to the Lake of the Clouds Hut where they will spend the night, and emerge tomorrow.
These veterans and first responders will climb more than 7,700 feet of vertical, and trek approximately 20 miles, over the next 36 hours.
