My daughter, SGT Headen is the assistant Chief of a rescue team. She and the Chief went hiking/ camping in the winter at Mt Washington. The Chief’s dog fell into the water, so the Chief jumped in to rescue him. The weather started moving in and he was extremely cold and wet. They ended up calling for assistance. Help arrived and they were all safe. They didn’t even get charged for being rescued since they had every requirement for their trek, and they are rescuers that needed to be rescued. Glad they and both dogs are safe!!
