My friends I spent some time cutting the grass in the front yard this evening. I have been seeking the Lord's guidance and felt peace about attempting to cut as much as I could tolerate. I took my cane for help getting up and went barefoot wearing a pair of shorts - chest scars visible.
[Caveat] The image is from March 2003 and is the most recent with my chest scar visible - the drainage ports are covered by the gauze :-0
My darling wife took clothes to the laundromat since our washer is not able to take a load without the agitator going berserk :-)
It takes a long time for me to cool down after physical work - I am still cooling down over 30 minutes after coming back inside. :-)
I am working on responding to as many posts as I can today/tonight :-)
2003-03-15 my two youngest sons came to visit me as I was recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center

What's with all the wires? Were you using an electric lawnmower powered by your pacemaker?

The image is from March 2003 and the latest which show my chest scar when it was fresh, my friend CPT Jack Durish. In those days the drainage ports were covered with the gauze. Thankfully my pacemaker was temporary. However the ferrous wires attached to my heart mean I can't get near an MRI machine :-)
Physical labor is still challenging; but is beneficial when I am up to it.

I tell my wife all the time that sex is great for the heart. For some reason, she always seems to reach over and smack me upside the head. ;)
