I have a varicocele in my left testicle which is substantially larger then the testicle itself at this point. It’s grown bigger over the past few years. It gives me pain and discomfort here and there. Will the Army medically discharge me for this(I don’t really care either way, just wondering what will happen)?

Easily fixed by surgery. Couple different ways to do it. I had an orange sized hydrocele back in the day. Different mechanism, but same outcome. Post op, my buddies made sure to mention my "trauma" loudly at the O Club. I just told them their Bloody Mary's were spiced up with a nutsicle. Good time by all. Best to have a good surgical urologist deal with it. No worries son....

I had that same surgery, Captain. In and out. No problem at all. My urologist did say it might be easier to just remove the testicle during surgery. I asked if he was going to wake me up to tell me that, or just take it and tell me later. Nope. Just take it and tell me later. Well, it certainly would have streamlined things. That was the first thing I checked when I woke up in recovery. One. Two. Good to go.

I would suggest a surgical repair as well. Easy fix.
