I've posted this one before, but when you come to the bitter end, one thing that unifies folks is music. The 60's through the 80's were some of the most trying times in American history where we weren't at war. During this time period, some of the greatest groups came along. If this is all it takes to reach out an olive branch to make a friend, grab the camcorder....it's going to be a long night and a lot of fun will be had impersonating them.

SSG Warren Swan This was from "MOTOWN 25", the 25th anniversary of MOTOWN. I got a VHS of that show many years ago and it was one of my favorites (I collect concerts). My daughter-in-law gave me the Blu-Ray set last year and it is still my favorite. All the MOTOWN stars are on it and Barry Gordy is in the audience and joins them on stage for the finale.
If you have not seen "MOTOWN THE MUSICAL" (it just reopened on Broadway), you should really try to see it (in New York or if the travelling show comes to a city near you). I saw it both in New York and Fort Worth (and I have bootleg DVD of the show). This Temptations/Four Tops "battle" is recreated in the Broadway/traveling show.... and it is great.

Do they capture them accurately or simulate them for money's sake? I've seen the Temptations movie and won't watch it again. When Blue rolls away and doesn't come back....those damn Onions come on strong. But the movie itself was awesome. That scene tore me up.

SSG Warren Swan - They do a pretty good job of capturing them, although nothing is better than the originals. Of course, the Temptations went through members like underwear, while the Four Tops had the same four members for decades.
