I expect you realize that you and I have been role models for many throughout our lives. In all likelihood we have been a combination of positive and negative role model. Hopefully as we have matured spiritually, we have become a role model more worthy of emulation for those we lead specially including family members. ‘Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness. Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine.’ [Titus 2:2-3 ESV] No doubt you are an encourager who build’s hope, inspires and motivates those who rely on you for leadership, advice and counsel. Hopefully you and I demonstrate love and respect to our friends and neighbors this summer. I pray that we each are willing and able to embrace family members including giving and receiving hugs. ‘And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.’ [Galatians 6:9-10 ESV] my brother-in-Christ SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
I pray LORD that YOU bless each adopted son and daughter of God who reads or listens to this prayer to YOU LORD sufficient humility, endurance in doing well and especially in assisting others to reach the bar and encouraging them to meet and exceed requirements. I am thankful that YOU bless parents within sight to train their children. I pray for attentiveness and discernment for each parent as they raise the bar and encourage their children to meet it, then praise the child and raise the bar again for the training and education of their children – from tricycles, to training wheels to riding bikes; from learning the alphabet, to enunciating, to reading on their own, and increasing the level of what they read. ‘At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.’ [Matthew 18:1-4 ESV]
I hope your dreams are in alignment with the plan of God for your life as well as HIS plan for the lives of those who depend on you. No doubt you are aware of the admonitions of the LORD to submit our plans to HIM and rely on HIS guidance. ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways submit to Him and HE will make your path straight.’ [Proverbs 3:5-6]
I pray that YOU are seeding YOUR Word in the fertilized soul of those we are earnestly interceding for salvation. I thank YOU for guiding people to share faith by demonstration to our loved ones. Draw as many as YOU are willing tonight to YOU. ‘Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. … As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience. [Luke 8:11,15]
I pray for the peace of Jerusalem. I pray for eternal salvation for many of the descendants of Abraham especially Jews and Muslims. ‘Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you! Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!” For my brothers and companions’ sake I will say, “Peace be within you!” For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your good.’ [Psalm 122:6-9 ESV]
I pray that you and I heed the admonition of the LORD trust in the LORD

Revelations 21:5-6 ' And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.
b. Proverbs 16:20-23 'Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD. The wise of heart is called discerning, and sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness. Good sense is a fountain of life to him who has it, but the instruction of fools is folly. The heart of the wise makes his speech judicious and adds persuasiveness to his lips.’

Good morning Kerry. Need to take this "call" and I will get right back to you.
I love the topic and I am a believer in finding one's calling. Mine is service and it has come in different forms over the years but it has always driven my actions and given my life purpose and I cannot imagine living any other way. I look back and I see the evolution of my purpose and I know I am exactly where I should be doing what I was meant to do. The wonderful part of that is that I never have to convince myself that what I am doing is worthwhile; there is always someone who needs help, a task worth doing that will cross my path today.
What drives you? What is your passion and your calling?

I pray LORD that YOU bless each adopted son and daughter of God who reads or listens to this prayer to YOU LORD sufficient humility, endurance in doing well and especially in assisting others to reach the bar and encouraging them to meet and exceed requirements. I am thankful that YOU bless parents within sight to train their children. I pray for attentiveness and discernment for each parent as they raise the bar and encourage their children to meet it, then praise the child and raise the bar again for the training and education of their children – from tricycles, to training wheels to riding bikes; from learning the alphabet, to enunciating, to reading on their own, and increasing the level of what they read. ‘At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.’ [Matthew 18:1-4 ESV]
I hope your dreams are in alignment with the plan of God for your life as well as HIS plan for the lives of those who depend on you. No doubt you are aware of the admonitions of the LORD to submit our plans to HIM and rely on HIS guidance. ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways submit to Him and HE will make your path straight.’ [Proverbs 3:5-6]
I pray that YOU are seeding YOUR Word in the fertilized soul of those we are earnestly interceding for salvation. I thank YOU for guiding people to share faith by demonstration to our loved ones. Draw as many as YOU are willing tonight to YOU. ‘Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. … As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience. [Luke 8:11,15]
I pray for the peace of Jerusalem. I pray for eternal salvation for many of the descendants of Abraham especially Jews and Muslims. ‘Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you! Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!” For my brothers and companions’ sake I will say, “Peace be within you!” For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your good.’ [Psalm 122:6-9 ESV]
I pray that you and I heed the admonition of the LORD trust in the LORD
a. Revelations 21:5-6 ' And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.
b. Proverbs 16:20-23 'Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD. The wise of heart is called discerning, and sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness. Good sense is a fountain of life to him who has it, but the instruction of fools is folly. The heart of the wise makes his speech judicious and adds persuasiveness to his lips.’
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Wednesday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Thursday morning.
