Jack I could not agree more. I have nothing against immigrants, my wife is an immigrant, who worked her ass off to become a citizen and is also a Vet. However, lets not confuse immigrants and illegal aliens big difference.

How did this situation get to where it is today? And why is it so difficult for Democrats to respect and follow the law? With that being stated this is a masterful political play by the Democrats. Import as many needy voters as you can, use the media hourly to bash any opposition, addict corporations to cheap labor and get the entire educational system to promote the social agenda while Sanctuary Cities and political leaders provide clout to the movement. The Democrats have one again outplayed the Republicans.

I was just reading about the MAVNI (Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest) program..But immigrants need to be in a legal status to get into it. Most likely, with DACA gone, those that are already enlisted will be allowed to continue in the MAVNI program. Of course, right now the DoD has stopped accepting MAVNI requests, so no new ones.

I read a piece on MAVNI and it said DACA cases were addressed one by one. I know they have discontinued MAVNI, for now anyway, but I would not have a problem with DACA recipients doing 4 years of service and getting a pathway to legal status and then citizenship. Of course, step 1 would have to be no criminal history, or at least the same that is allowed by everyone else eligible for military service.

SSG William Bowen - I'd like to see the POTUS float the idea that they are certainly welcomed but they will never vote in a Presidential Election. I'd like to see all the heads on the Left explode. This is not about compassion, humanity, ect. Its is a strategic scheme by the Democrats to change the demographics of the electorate, period.
