I know MSgt Thomas Clifford has me blocked for some reason, but let me highlight the lead line on this article:
"Sixty-eight percent of undecided voters in battleground states support a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants"
That is a substantial lead.

I’ll say it again for the billionth time. Most American do not have an issue with LEGAL immigration. It is ILLEGAL immigration that is the problem.

I think almost everyone supports legal immigration. The issue at question is those that come here illegally, breaking immigration law first and then perhaps labor laws later and a group of them that are violent criminals etc.

Cpl Jeff N. - Please explain to me the legal culpability of a 6-year old.. That 6-year old did not break the law, and I imagine that CPL Joy Downs Hart thought it was BS because she knows that we don't punish children in this country for things that their parents did. It's actually forbidden in the Constitution. Did you forget that? Or did you just not care about the children?

Capt Gregory Prickett - I know you are slow Greg so I will type this a little more slowly for you. If the child is not here illegally there is no legal culpability. If the child is here with a family unit that is here illegally then they can all be deported under the law. Children that come here on their own (unaccompanied) should be repatriated and placed in their country of origins care.
So we do punish children for things their parents do when we deport an entire family unit do we not?

Cpl Jeff N. - Skippy, I know that you have difficulty understanding this, but words have meaning. I stated that not "all" undocumented people in the U.S. broke the law. You stated that they did. I asked you to explain the legal culpability of the 6-year old child, not the "family unit" (but while you are digging your hole, please explain the criminal penalties for a "family unit" may be subjected to under either the United States Code or the Code of Federal Regulations. And I'm not talking about individuals in the "unit", I'm talking about the entire unit.). So again, please show me the legal culpability of the child. And remember, according to federal law, deportation is not considered "punishment."
