I am one of about 570 US Service Members(ARNG Aviation and UAVs, Special Forces, USAR and ARNG engineers, Army Reserve Logistics support and even ANGLICO and Radio Battalion Marines )are participating in Canada's largest military exercise with over 5000+ Canadian Forces at Maple Resolve 19.
This exercise also has participation of a Platoon of French and British soldiers as well.
The exercise validates a few hundred soldiers from Canada who will be going to Latvia to relieve other soldiers already there . This is their version of NTC or JRTC. I am the Acting Deputy Commander of the 654th Regional Support Group. Our Unit is Opcon and Adcon to all American Forces there. I met a Canadian Corporal Conway, a fire support Soldier from a Reserve Unit. No, he is not my long lost son LOL.
When I first arrived, it was about 26 degrees Fahrenheit. Yesterday it was in the 70s but it should be cooling into the sixties all next week. This is my second exercise with the Canadians. You can see more pictures on DVIDs under MAPLE RESOLVE on the dvidshub link for official PAO photos and videos.

I will release more pictures once the exercise is over.
Here is an example of from the Canadian Public Affairs Office video from a few years back.
