Many Soldiers are not aware that their Regiment (for example the Signal Regiment) has an awards process in place. Signaleers can be awarded the Bronze Order of Mercury for especially distinct service, as long as they are members of their Regimental Association and are recommended by a member in good standing. What are you doing in your Regiment to promote the Regiment and to recognize outstanding Soldiers?

This is a great topic and hopefully educational to a lot of leaders. I am a recipient of the order of Samuel Sharpe (ordnance corps) as well as the order of Saint Maurice (Infantry) some of these medals can be awarded to Soldiers that do not hold an MOS in that particular field, like me getting the Infantry's St, Maurice. I have a few write ups saved somewhere if anybody needs help or ideas of what it should look like then just let me know.

I know that the Engineer Regiment and the Army Engineer Association has the Order of the De Fleury Medal. It is easy nominate someone as long as you know what they have done or you can get them to write you a bio of what they have done in their careers that's engineer related.
