Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. The Red Cross training we had scheduled for today has been postponed so I get to spend more time with my son. Works for me.
Conduct is the true measure of a person. It's what you do that counts, much more than what you say. And do you need law or threats or some other outward pressure to cause you to do right or are you guided by internal principals? We see too many who fail to understand that good people conduct themselves properly whether in public or private; regardless of whether there will be repercussions or not.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Charlie we were thinking alike this morning when it comes to the message of conduct...

“Anyone’s conduct on a regular basis and when under pressure displays their core values and character. How you’re perceived today and, in the future, will be based on your conduct. That leads me to this quote by Mark Twain…

‘Laws control the lesser man… right conduct controls the greater one.’

May your best conduct be on display each and every day; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Check your conduct, check yourself, before you wreck yourself.” – COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Great discussion TONIGHT about your conduct and how invisible disabilities and wounds affect conduct/behavior with Warriors for Life (WFL) Online Peer Support – there should be some interesting interaction among the group, so join us for — "How Does PTSD and Other Invisible Disabilities Change Behavior!"

I expect your core values are aligned with honorable principles. No doubt you have inculcated a code of conduct worth imitating. The LORD has justified each of us who are HIS adopted sons and daughters. I hope you realize in HIS eyes you have impeccable character. I hope and pray that you and I have taken to heart the admonition of the LORD to confess our shortfalls and failures and ask the LORD to help us genuinely repent and when appropriate ask for forgiveness. 'If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' [1 John 1:8-9 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown

I pray that each and every one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters spontaneously praise and thank YOU dear LORD throughout the day. I hope that each of us are thankful for all YOU do for us including the good and the bad. YOU shape our character through challenges and trials. Enable us to learn quickly the lessons we need to learn for ourselves. Empower us to share what we have learned to bless other individuals. ‘Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.’ [Romans 5:3-5 ESV]
I pray for a sufficient increase of the fruit of the Spirit faithfulness, self-control and goodness for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters dear LORD. Thank you, LORD for YOUR steadfast love and care for each of us. You Heavenly Father are the perfect parent. YOU admonish each of us, discipline each of us, and are perfecting our soul by sanctification to reflect YOUR perfect image. My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the LORD reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.’ [Proverbs 3;11-12 ESV]
I pray for an increase of authenticity, transparency, trustworthiness, and desire for justice and fairness for each trustworthy legislator, judge, justice, government executive, appointed official, and leader. LORD empower each of us to be humble, firm in principles, and noble in character. 'Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. [1 Peter 5:5 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Saturday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Sunday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good Saturday morning, Burroughs Posse Leader!!!! I am off to my monthly DAV meeting... Will catch up this afternoon!!! Have an awesome day!!! it is nearing 4-PM in the Boston Area and it has been a long day so far... I will try to do today's message justice! LOL!

It is: “Conduct Day!” Why Not?

"The best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness; to an opponent, tolerance; to a friend, your heart; to your child, a good example; to a father, deference; to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you; to yourself, respect; to all men, charity." - Francis Maitland Balfour, British biologist 1851-1882

"Be studious in your profession, and you will be learned. Be industrious and frugal, and you will be rich. Be sober and temperate, and you will be healthy. Be in general virtuous, and you will be happy. At least you will, by such conduct, stand the best chance for such consequences." - Benjamin Franklin, American statesman and physicist 1706-1790

"Remember upon the conduct of each depends the fate of all." - Alexander the Great, Macedonian king 356BC - 323BC

"Though our conduct seems so very different from that of the higher animals, the primary instincts are much alike in them and in us." - Albert Einstein, German/American physicist 1879-1955

Decisions, decisions, decisions... How is it that we make big decisions in a good way...Read on.

"A leader’s decisions are best made based on their core values and their code of conduct. Be your authentic self, because you have to live with your decisions and yourself each day." — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
