I would welcome an aggressive investigation that follows it from start to finish and includes why the investigation was started, what were the points along the way that made it continue, since we have had statements that Colmey had doubts about the truthfulness of an email involving Hillary, what else was deemed truthful/not truthful about Hillary or Trump, which Obama officials unsealed names and released them, who leaked the info to the media, etc. If it turns out that it was senior advisors to Obama, I hope they subpoena him as well. Reopen the Hillary email investigation since it was only closed by Comey to prevent Russian interference. If there are charges to be made, charge the democrats as well.

Anything less will be solidly rejected by the American people. Wherever the facts may lead, and no bias with regard to prosecution if any is warranted. Even though Trump was elected by 31% of eligible voters (62/200 million) at this point fairness matters. Or it should to anyone that truly puts Nation above Party, and this is way above the Party level in the big picture.

A major issue with this is many Democrats are unwilling to accept anything less than a conviction and possible impeachment of Trump. While some Republicans have supported the above approach, none of the Democrats in the Senate or House of Representatives have signaled a willingness or a desire to follow a path that may reveal wrongdoing by the Obama appointees and possibly into the WH.

Lots of dots but no connecting lines. They need to clam up and quit trying to gain political capital from doing their job. Unless they can shed their party label long enough to act professionally, we will never get this resolved in any factual manner. It's too important for them to be grandstanding and spilling the findings on a daily basis. We should all remain open-minded about the process but also cast a wary eye because there is so much at stake. There are a choice few that would like to turn this into their moment in the sun for their future, and that's just not the way it should be done. I remain cautiously optimistic that this will run its course and we can get back on track, whatever that outcome may be. I don't have much confidence in the House because of all the past actions on both sides. The Senate seems to be a bit more stoic and the Mueller effort report card remains to be seen. The duplicity of efforts makes little sense but it's likely because everyone wants a slice of it for political reasons. Several areas that were previously being looked at by DOJ are now being handed off to Mueller. Imagine the outcry and folly if all three inquiries arrive at different conclusions. Standard DC politics I guess - SNAFU. Thanks for sharing.

CWO3 (Join to see) - rTime will tell But I am willing to for investigators to give it as much time and effort ass Whitewater , Watergate or Benghazi.

Can you please explain why the need to clam, up when the current POTUS ranted for years with an ignorant and bigoted lie about Obama's place of birth. That did not even have dots to draw lines between

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - he was a private citizen and his motives are unknown - although some may have their theory(s) - but these investigations are a serious matter and they have already said more than they should have, it has become like a reality show and it diminishes the sanctity of the process, not saying Trump's birther claims weren't serious, just that they were not of the same magnitude as these, they were only comments and were not geared toward any potential judicial action(s), these investigations need to be taken seriously and not treated like studio wrestling in the interest of media ratings or future votes

Trump became POTUS largely because of this racist claims. So we have to disagree on the severity of the effect. And if you think this is a big reality show perhaps you do not Rembert Watergate or Whitewater.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr Many of your posts contain some element of accusations of racism involving Trump. I do not see the link of racism on a birther claim. First, It is a matter of where a person is born, not the color of their skin. If you will recall, there was controversy over Ted Cruz being born in Canada
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2015/mar/26/ted-cruz-born-canada-eligible-run-president-update/
2nd While Trump did push the claim of Obama being born outside of the United States, he did not originate that claim. The claim originated with the supporters of the 2008 Hilary Clinton campaign

Trump was not voted into office by over 60 million americans who are racist. The thought of that in and of itself is racist. Trump's voters included people of many races including white, black, hispanic, asian, etc. The reason why he won was not because he was the best possible Republican candidate, there were others who would have done a great job. It was due to 8 disastrous years of policies from the most liberal President in recent history causing us to have the highest debt (almost 20 Trillion dollars which is more than the annual GNP) and extreme left policies that were signed into being by E.O. instead of going through Congress. It was the looming possible election of Clinton who was viewed as corrupt and a terrible candidate that would continue Obama's policies. Trump was viewed as someone who was not politically correct and would role back many of Obama's policies. That is why he was elected President. Regarding Watergate, a criminal act actually occurred which included Burglary. Bill Clinton was investigated for Whitewater, but he had other scandals going on at the same time involving allegations of sexual assault and harrassment as Governor of Arkansas. The issue with what is going on now is supposedly credible news agencies publishing multiple reports on Russia involvement with the election, supposed collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, along with many other scandals all without naming a single source or a way to prove it is true. Each time a report comes out with an accusation and it is either proven false or unable to be proved as true, the news agency does not report a retraction or amend it, they change to a different subject or double down on it. The latest is Intelligence Chiefs have said they have not felt any pressure from the Trump admin.
