Read in Washington Times today, "It’s official: IRS employees biased against conservatives".

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/dec/23/irs-employees-biased-against-conservatives-report/

If the IRS was run like the military, we shouldn't have this problem. There are soldiers of every denomination and political party, but there are regulations that give guidance on what we can and cannot say in public forums because it may not represent the service in which we serve. It's too bad certain classes of people are seemingly targeted by the IRS.

What do you think? True? Untrue? Spin by conservatives?

Based on what we saw recently, SFC (Join to see), I think there is likely some truth to this report. This report by a Republican Congressman is something like the other side of the page of the Senate (Democrat) report on CIA Enhanced Interrogation Techniques. Interesting, to say the least.

"Playing politics" is a favorite pastime in D.C.

If by conservative, they mean Republican (I wonder sometimes!) - I've had a business for years, and have never had an issue with the IRS. And I am a card-carrying Republican. As a general rule... if you pay your taxes, and your return doesn't fire off a dozen red flags, you only hear from the IRS at deposit time.

I thought the IRS was biased against me the regular tax payer that has no nonprofit status. If I pay every one should pay no exception. IRS if you read this I am still paying, I learned my lesson.
