The only reference to Islam in your post was on ISIS. Not Islam per si, But, everyone knows ISIS is Sunni following Muhammad's orders to wage war against the Infidels, Jews and form a Caliphate.
I guess, in the New Age of global government and open borders, there is only crimes against the State. Extremism and radicalized individuals regardless of brand of ideology and paginism.

We shall see what Austria is able to do. There actions against a radical mosque will likely draw backlash from liberal sections across Europe... The real question is how effective is it? If you know where they are - you can figure out who they are... if you push the ones iintent on conducting radicalization out - then you do not know either question... and they are still in your country.. You gain more by targeting the known radical imams and the recruiters.. and taking them out.

i have not seen the larger government model succeed in this fight anywhere... it has fueled the fire often and caused problems in failing to identify the enemy and how to counter them.. or to even coordinate to counter them.. White Riesling :)
