300 Muslims killed by Nigerian Christians

Let me give you some background information. The Muslims who lived at the Niger Delta which is almost the bottom tip of the country had legitimate grievances against the Christian government. Offshore drilling polluted the ocean and lands in the Niger Delta. The Muslims in that region were incapable to fish and farm the land due to the pollution. To add insult to injury the government refused to share oil profits with the Muslims in the Niger Detla who eventually became financially destitute and hungry. That was the start of the insurgency with the ideology of economic fairness.

I will say with candor I have not kept abreast of the current composition and ideologies of the insurgency. I will make the strong assumpition the ideologies have changed or increased. I will make the assumption that multinational groups support the Nigerian insurgents.
