When transitioning to the civilian job market, don’t let your military occupational specialty, MOS, define your civilian career.
When separating from the military, it can be daunting to find employment that directly correlates to your military occupational specialty. But you don’t have to be limited by your MOS.

I,m a fine example of this article. MOS as 11B ,their are not too many jobs related to infantry... But that should never stop anyone from achieving their goals. I did go college for a while. Had to quit because of tired of being poor ! LOL.. But I started out when cable TV was booming in the 80's as a lineman/splicer.. Mostly self taught myself to do the job..Learned quite a bit along the way. Sometimes the hard way. Now I work for a major telecom company as a line tech...Looking to retire in a few years... all I can say is don't limit one's self.... the ole saying goes..." if you enjoy it, it is not a job ! " Never give up on what you want to do....
