Fortunately I live in the country and stepping out the back door and popping off a few rounds is easily done. I haven't done that lately as ammo is becoming quite scarce. I have been gathering my expended shells and reloading them though.

He was talking of a double barreled 12 ga. Now you are are defenseless, unless his wife knows how to reload, and has extra shells with her. If not, it is now only useful as a club!
