The King County Sheriff's Office is by Seattle's Law Enforcement Default - responsible for the area now known (including by Seattle's Mayor - what's her name?) as the CHAZ or alternately the CHOP. That would be the next level of law enforcement.
.
One thing - the King County Sheriff isn't answerable to the Mayor of Seattle and since the Seattle has abandoned the area, is obligated by Washington's Statutes to provide enforcement of the county and state (not the city's) law; to make arrests; and to protect those citizens within King County without organized Law Enforcement.
Additionally she, Mitzi G. Johanknecht has a 35 year record of Law Enforcement. There is an abbreviated bio on Wikipedia. I have been unable to locate any other sources that provide any additional information on which to make a judgement.
Due to the limited nature of her background, I cannot accurately assess if she will step up to protect the legitimate citizens, residents and business owner/employees in all of King County or not.
.
I do recommend if you know someone in King County that you tell them to make complaints about their loved ones among the 30000 home resident and the businesses that are being impacted by the activities within the CHAZ/CHOP contact the King's County Sheriff's Office - not 911, since Seattle Police are not responding.
.
Here's the contact information King County Sheriff, King County Courthouse, 516 Third Avenue, Room W-150, Seattle, WA 98104.
Phone: [login to see] , TTY Relay 7-1-1.
Call [login to see] 24-hours: To report a neighborhood problem or a crime within the area now identified as the CHAZ/CHOP.
.
NOTE: Seattle's Mayor is Jenny Durkan,

You don't call the fire department for a dumpster fire.
You just put a lid on it and let the trash burn itself out.

Do you live there? I don't but that's why I'm simply putting it out there that there is law Enforcement available above the Seattle PD.

SFC Ralph E Kelley - No. I live in Minneapolis where we have problems of our own. Interestingly, Hennepin County Sherriff's Dept has been almost completely absent here as well.
It was State Troopers and National Guard that actually restored a semblance of order.

Democratic run cities are killing their own economy, business, and innocent people. If the mayor and governor do not take action...
